The visitor tax costs 2,00 € per person (over 16) and day. Please notice that there are different visitor taxes for our flats in Grainau.You recieve your visitor`s card from us upon arrival.
This tax is charged by, and goes directly to, the municipal authorities of Garmisch. It must be paid by every visitor staying overnight in Garmisch, who in return receive a variety of discounts, such as free city bus service and many more:
- free travel with all of the local busses
- one-time free entrance to the Alpspitz wave pool
- one-time free entrance to the Casino (23 years and up)
- One time fare reduction for the mountain railways
- Entrance fee reduction for the Werdenfels Museum
- Entrance fee reduction for the Partnach gorge
- Fare reduction for the (summer) dry luge run in Kainzenbad
